Lawton star will decide today
In this day and age of information it doesn't take long for a player to go from a name on a piece of paper to a nationally recognized recruit. Nowhere is there more evidence of this than Lawton, Okla. where if not for an amazingly rich tradition of great football teams, and even better football players few college coaches would stop by. To that end, they've been stopping by MacArthur high school to talk to head coach Ernie Manning to speak to him about his star safety Javon Harris.
One school that has been paying him a lot of attention as of late is Oklahoma, and he'll be returning the favor by heading up to Norman today.
"Javon is going there today with his dad. I think that they will probably offer him," Manning said. "Bobby Jack Wright has watched some tape and really liked him, and I understand Bob Stoops felt the same way about him."
