Bonsu likes what TCU has to offer

Allen, Texas defensive tackle Nate Bonsu is now officially on the radar of several top notch programs around the country. The 6-foot-2, 265-pounder is getting interest from the likes of Virginia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Iowa State, Iowa, Kansas, and has two offers on the table from TCU and Tulsa.

"I have two offers from TCU and Tulsa," Bonsu said. "I've been talking with Georgia Tech a lot lately and I think they're close to offering. My favorite three right now is TCU around the top and Tulsa and Georgia Tech."

Bonsu says academics among other items is among the main factors he's looking at.

"Academics is first," he said. "The location isn't that much of a factor, I'm not trying to stay real close to home, playing far doesn't really matter, I just want to make it good for my family and me, it'll be a tough decision for me."

Bonsu points at the education student-athletes get from TCU and that's a big reason the Frogs have made such an impression.

"The education at TCU is real good," he said. "The football program is good and they're known to be a good program for defensive linemen. And the location is good so my family would be able to see me play. Me, Steven Terrell, and Uze (Uzoma Nwachuckwu) are going there Wednesday because they offered all three of us and were going to watch one of their spring practices."

Bonsu is entering his third year on the varsity for the Eagles and last year was named All-District and All-Colin County.
