Top linebacker visits Auburn Junior Day

One of the South's most highly recruited linebackers, Milledgeville (Ga.) Baldwin standout Corico Hawkins was in Auburn this past Sunday for the Tigers first Junior Day.

"It was real nice in Auburn," said Hawkins. "They have a nice weight room and all and I got to see it first-hand so it was a great experience."

The 6-foot, 218-pound Hawkins met with both AU head coach Tommy Tuberville and assistants Greg Knox and James Willis.

"I think they're all great people, great coaches," said Hawkins. "They welcomed me in with open arms. I feel like I would fit in good there as a linebacker with the system they run."

Hawkins sat in on a linebacker meeting with Willis.
