McKeller had a great time in Athens

Big Darius McKeller was over at the University of Georgia for Junior Day and he had a great time. It was his first visit to Athens and he was able to spend some time with the coaches, get a feel for the University, and see if UGA could be the place for him.

"Georgia is a great place and I got to tour the campus, see the athletic facilities, and check out the academic center and all were real nice," said McKeller.

"I also got to go to the basketball game and the game was great. I thought Georgia was going to come back, but they barely lost to Tennessee. The crowd was good and it was a lot of fun."

During the visit, McKeller was able to spend some time with a few coaches on the Bulldog staff.

"I talked to Coach [Rodney] Garner, Coach [Stacy] Searels, Coach [Mike] Bobo, and Coach [Mark] Richt. All of them were really nice guys and it was cool to talk with them."

"I talked with Coach Searels the most and we actually ate lunch together in the cafeteria. I sat with him and his family, so that was nice and it was cool to get to know him. We did not talk much about recruiting, but we just had general conversation."
