Junior DT wrecking havoc

Clay-Chalkville's Quinton Dial is one of the biggest defensive linemen in the state of Alabama - and this massive athlete is just a junior. Standing 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, Dial is still growing which means bad news for Birmingham-area foes.

"It is hard enough that he is so big that it makes it difficult for anyone to block him, but when you account for his quickness, it just makes him that much more of a challenge," said first-year Clay-Chalkville coach Brent Smith. "Quinton is about a 5.2 or 5.1 40-yard dash kid, and it is hard to believe a kid of that size can move like that but he can."

Dial had a breakout game in a win over Shades Valley when he recorded 10 tackles and a sack.
