Now that all of Arizona's 2008 commits' senior seasons are underway, some of them are faring better than others but almost all of them have big goals for themselves and for their teams.

One of those that has had a good start to the 2007 season in Scottsdale Saguaro lineman Chris Merrill, who has seen his team start out 3-0 with wins against Prescott, Tucson Saguaro and Avondale Agua Fria.

Merrill was voted a team captain by his teammates and has some goals he would like to achieve this season.

"The big goal as a team captain is to lead my team to another state championship and get another ring," he said. "Also I just want to help out my team wherever they need me and have a great senior year."
