Huntsville standout high on AU after visit

Huntsville (Ala.) J.O. Johnson DL Jomarcus Savage made his third visit to Auburn this weekend. Savage arrived on the Plains Friday along with teammate David Isabelle.

The 6-foot-2, 260-pound Savage didn't participate in the camp, but spent time touring the campus and facilities in addition to talking to coaches, players and other top recruits.

"We got there Friday and hung out with some of the players. We went out to eat with a lot of them like Quenitn Groves, Sen'Derrick Marks, Aairon Savage and a couple of recruits," said Jomarucs Savage. "I talked to (recruiting) coach Don Dunn, and of course, coach James Willis.

"I heard coach Willis coming down the hall. He heard I was there, and he was screaming 'J.O.!' because that's where he went to school, too.

"I took a tour Friday when I first got there. I saw the academic center, the computer lab, study hall and stuff like that. Most of it I had already seen, but the visit just helped me get to know a little bit more about Auburn."
