SoCal DT gets first offer

Inland Empire area of Southern California is fast becoming a football talent gold mine. Once again the area eastward from Los Angeles will attract visitors from some of the nation's best colleges.

Defensive tackle Quentin Toailoa (6-5, 275, 5.2) from Redlands (Calif.) East Valley will be one of those attractions.

As a matter of fact the University of Arizona is ahead of the curve and is the first school to pony up an offer.

The word is Cal is also close to offering and Nebraska has a high interest in Toailoa.

As a junior, Toailoa earned all-league distinction after accounting for 70 tackles and three sacks.
