4-star LB impressed with visit
Quanzell Lambert is another top prospect out of the state of New Jersey that the Eagles are targeting. At The 6-foot-2, 230-pounds, and a 4.6 in the forty, Lambert already has the size and speed of a linebacker that could be playing on Sundays. So it is not surprising that he has close to 20 scholarships offers.
Over his spring break Lambert got a chance to visit Boston College. What did he think of his day at the Heights?
"I liked everything about the visit. They have a great campus and facilities," said Lambert. "The highlight was probably just talking with the coaches. It was definitely one of the top visits I have had."
Lambert says he is still wide open and has no favorites, but listed Rutgers, Alabama, Northwestern, Stanford, Florida, Nebraska, Boston College and UConn as schools that were recruiting him the hardest.
Both Coach Dawson and Coach McGovern are recruiting the middle linebacker, what has been their message to him?
"They just talk to me about how I could fit in their defensive scheme," said Lambert.
What standouts out about Boston College, and what is he looking for in a school?
"The history, there defensive system and academics are what standout about BC," said Lambert. "the two main things that I am looking for are academics and coaching."
Lambert has a busy summer ahead of him he has summer practices four days a week and 7 v 7 tournaments scheduled. He also hopes to narrow down his list by taking visits to Virgina, Alabama, Florida, West Virginia and Nebraska over the summer.
