Liggins makes his decision

Le'Vander Liggins is a speedy athlete who has the ability to change a game in an instant much like former Louisiana Tech Bulldog Phillip Livas. In the 11th hour, Baylor and Colorado State offered Liggins and he visited Louisiana-Lafayette this past weekend.

Sunday afternoon Liggins said he did not know when he would make a decision as to where he would play college football. He did make his final 4 to BleedTechBlue.com and that was Louisiana Tech, Baylor, ULL, and Colorado State in that order.

Later Sunday, Liggins notified us that he had committed to Sonny Dykes and Louisiana Tech. His decision was one he consulted his family on.

"I just thought about it after sitting down with the family, and we all feel that that is the best fit for me and my goals."

Liggins gives Tech versatility on the offensive side of the ball for many years to come. Liggins can run the wildcat quarterback position, running back, wide receiver or even kick and/or punt returner.
