Peacock enjoys MSU visit
Over the weekend Citrus Community College offensive tackle Jason Peacock took his fifth and final official visit to Mississippi State.
The 6-foot-5, 325-pound three-star prospect spent time in Starkville getting to know more about the Bulldogs program overall.
"It went nice," Peacock said. "I had a chance to bond with some of the players, the o-line and the offensive line coach. I got a chance to sit in the offensive line meetings and watch practice. I toured their facilities, went into the locker room and seen the lounge. I got a chance to go over to one of the players (Tobias Smith) house on Friday night. He was showing me around his apartment and showed me the dorms I would stay in if I came. They were nice and everything would be paid for. I was like 'wow, that's a big step up from junior college'."
Peacock also had the opportunity to take in MSU's bowl practice on Saturday afternoon as the Bulldogs prepare to face Michigan in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1. He took particular interest in watching All-American left tackle Derek Sherrod work and picked up a few tips to improve his game.
