Metoyer Puts Rumors to Rest

Since the departure of Kevin Wilson on Tuesday to become Indiana's head coach there have been questions about the status of Oklahoma's offensive recruits and how they might feel about the situation. One player that has remained quiet through much of the talk is Whitehouse, Texas five-star Trey Metoyer. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound pass-catcher, like everyone, heard the news of Wilson's departure and quickly was in touch with receivers coach Jay Norvell.

Not surprisingly, the change doesn't mean a lot for Metoyer.

"Me and coach Norvell really didn't get into (the departure of Wilson). He said the offense isn't going to change at all and they are going still going to be doing the same things. So it's up tot all of us just to keep it going," Metoyer said.
