New math for run game
Don't confuse efficiency with productivity. Notre Dame's ground game doesn't, which is why the coaching staff graded the rush offense against Pittsburgh as the team's most efficient this season. That might sound like creative accounting considering the Irish averaged 2.8 yards per carry and managed just 87 net yards, but Notre Dame has a fresh take on what's good rush offense.
