Three-star Liggins' versatility paying off

Leesville, La., three-star athlete Le'Vander Liggins does a little bit of everything and does it fast.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder with 4.35 speed plays quarterback in the wildcat, tailback in the I-formation, slot back in the spread, cornerback on defense as well as kick and punt returner. That versatility is what has already landed Liggins seven scholarship offers.

Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Miami (OH), Tulane and SMU have all extended offers.

"Everybody is recruiting me as an athlete so it really just depends on the school that I go to as to what position," Liggins said.

Liggins is also receiving interest from Mississippi State and spoke with his recruiting coach Scott Sallach Wednesday night following the dead period.
