August 28, 2010 Video: Miller scores 3 TDs in opener

LANSING - video today features Michigan State running back commitment Onaje Miller with film excerpts of his 134-yard, 3-touchdown performance in a 35-9 victory against highly-regarded Holt, Friday night at Ed Madjeski Stadium.

Miller battled a hamstring injury during the spring and summer, and still feels the effects of that ailment. Friday night, he battled cramps and other injuries while trying to help will the Sexton Big Reds over the Holt Rams, a consensus Top 5 pick who were a common selection to contend for the Division 1 state title this year.

"Doubt us again," Sexton coach Dan Boggan said in the direction of various media after the game. "We knocked off the king. Doubt us again, we'll still be here."

The presence of Miller creates that kind of confidence.

In today's video, we have footage (although blurry) of his first-quarter, 46-yard TD run, plus TD runs of 5 and 3 yards, and other carries throughout the course of the game.
