One of the biggest names to take the chance to give Knoxville a closer look was four-star linebacker Lateek Townsend.

Townsend (6-foot-2, 197 pounds), from Bennettsville, South Carolina, has an offer list that makes an argument that he's one of the most highly recruited linebackers in the entire South.

With more than two dozen offers to date, the speedy defender has options galore, and is having a difficult time narrowing his list of schools down to a manageable number of favorites.

As a junior Townsend registered 189 tackles, 36 tackles for a loss and 14 sacks.

Rivals.com rates Townsend as a four-star prospect the No. 8 outside linebacker in the Class of 2012.
