Cummings working hard during offseason
Last season, Michael Cummings guided Killeen (TX) High School to a 9-3 record, including 5-1 in league play. In leading the Kangaroos to the second round of the Division 4A state playoffs, the 6-foot-0, 196-pound dual-threat quarterback firmly established himself as one of the top players in the Lone Star state. However, for Cummings, a three-star prospect, it wasn't good enough.
Having committed to Kansas on June 4, the talented signal caller, free from the distractions that come with the recruiting process, is determined to take his game, along with Killeen High School, to new heights.
