Gordon breaks it down

Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon remains a hot commodity this summer as he is up to twelve scholarship offers and ranked among the top 250 players in the nation. The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Gordon breaks down his recruiting for us, talks about his favorites, when he might make his college decision, and much more.

Q: Is anything new as far as offers or anything like that?

GORDON: No, it's still pretty much the same. I have twelve offers right now.

Q: Can you still list them all?

GORDON: Yeah. Louisville, Washington State, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Syracuse, and Illinois.

Q: When you look at yourself as a running back, can you describe what you bring to the table as far as right now and projecting to college?

GORDON: I've got speed, I'm elusive, and I feel like I've got great vision. I've got good hands, so I can catch the ball out of the backfield. Right now, I'm running hills and working hard to show next season that I've got more power and can take hits and run up the middle more too.
