Jordan's offer list is growing
Tommy Jordan is one of the top prospects in the Northeast and one of the few prospects in Connecticut that is garnering attention from more than a handful of schools.
Despite that, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle from Ridgefield has not heard much from the UConn staff. At this point the Huskies appear to be looking in other directions and Jordan will probably end up leaving the state.
"For a while my coach would call up there and ask what the deal is and whether they're going to send an offer," Jordan recalled. "Nothing ever got done and that was pretty much the end of it. I don't think I could consider them at this point."
Jordan has, however, received offers from Boston College, Florida, Rutgers, Duke, California and Wisconsin, so it's tough to feel bad for him.
"Some (other) schools still send letters or ask me stuff but I think all of the schools that are really interested have offered," he explained.
Jordan said he is not exactly sure when he will make his decision. Initially he wanted to make his decision during the summer but he doesn't seem entirely set on the idea anymore. It's still a possibility, but he is also considering moving the decision back a bit.
"It's hard to say. I guess the ideal time would be at the end of summer or two months into the school year," he said. "It's hard to say if I have a favorite right now. It would be hard to pick one."
