Bruins offer Palmetto State safety

Safety Pat Martin (6-0, 185, 4.5) from Greenville (S.C.) J.L. Mann is the type of player who would fit in nicely with UCLA's outstanding defensive back tradition that dates back to the 1960's dating back to Kermit Alexander and Jimmy Johnson.

Martin earned all-state, all-area, and all league after racking up 121 tackles, 12 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and two interceptions (one that he returned for a touchdown).

The Bruins offered Martin last weekend to join the likes of Arkansas, Cincinnati, Duke, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi State, and Tennessee.
