Talented WA lineman makes trip south

While Spring Camp is about the current team practicing and getting better, it is also a great time for prospective athletes to visit Corvallis to meet the team and coaches and check out a practice or two. A lot of athletes have already made the trip including the versatile Alec Martin from Wenatchee (Wash.) Wenatchee.

The 6-foot-5, 245 pound Martin recently took a drive south to take in both Oregon schools and walked away impressed. While many have him pegged as an offensive tackle in college, Coach Riley said that he could see him at defensive end as well, so Martin took in both position groups while in Corvallis.
