Standout corner gets tour and more!

There is no doubt that cornerback/wide receiver Stefan McClure (5-11, 170, 4.5) from Vista, Calif., is one of the most athletic corners on the west coast. He has seen his offers rise to eight and there seems to be no stopping for scholie opportunities in sight. McClure went to UCLA for an unofficial visit and take in a practice. It was a good day for McClure.

"I went to UCLA and got a campus tour by one of their students that do the tours," McClure said. "My dad and I got a tour it was about an hour and 15 minute tour then we went and watched the practice.

"The coaches came up and said hi to me and were talking to me before the practice," McClure said. "Then I watch their first padded practice of the spring and that was pretty exciting with all the guys getting after it and everything.

"After that I went back with Coach Pat (Girardi) and went to the locker room and the weight room because they opened that up to take a look at that and then after practice Coach Neuheisel came up and offered me."
