Wujciak enjoyed trip to BC
Boston College is one of the six schools that has offered Connor Wujciak a scholarship and last weekend the junior defensive end visited the ACC school.
Wujciak, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound lineman from West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep, also holds offers from Maryland, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Central Florida, and projects as a lineman that has the ability to get to the quarterback but one that can also play well against the run.
"I visited Boston College last weekend," Wujciak reported on Sunday in an interview with Rivals.com. "I liked it a lot. It's a great place and it was a real nice day out. I had never been to Boston College before but my parents had so my dad knew where it was. They went out there a year or two ago. I'm definitely interested in them."
Wujciak recorded 64 tackles, 11 sacks and three forced fumbles for Seton Hall last season and those numbers could rise this year in spite of the fact that he will draw more attention from opposing offenses.
The other schools that have offered have made it a point to emphasize their desire for him to visit, and he plans on making it out to at least one of them in the near future.
"I'm going to visit Pitt sometime within the next week or two weeks," he said. "I forget what weekend my dad said we'd do that but I'll be there. I'm definitely going there.
"I'm not sure where else we'll be going but as of right now that's what I know."
Wujciak said he hopes he is able to make his decision before the start of his senior season but he wouldn't make any guarantees. He said he doesn't have any favorites, nor does he have a timetable for narrowing his list.
In addition to the schools that have offered he said UConn, Purdue and North Carolina have started showing more interest of late.
