Reed's Decision Nearing, Not Finalized
With Cedric Reed already garnering offers from the likes of Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Vanderbilt it's clear he was one of the more highly touted players that came to Oklahoma's Junior Day. On Saturday the Cleveland, Texas native took in Oklahoma's campus after viewing things from afar for several months.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Reed and his father, Leric, both made the trek across the Red River for what would be their first trip to Norman.
Upon their return it seems all was well.
"It was long but it was good though," said a tired Reed upon his return home. "I talked with head coach (Bob) Stoops, my recruiting coordinator coach (James) Patton, coach (Jackie) Shipp, and defensive ends coach (Bobby Jack) Wright. I liked everyone one that was up there, it was all good."
