Bedlam Hosts One of the Nation's Top OL
With Oklahoma already having 27 commitments for the class of 2010 the Sooner coaching staff has long been able to turn some of their focus towards the nation's top junior prospects. One player who has always reciprocated this interest is Springdale (Ark.) Har-Ber offensive tackle Brey Cook. The 6-foot-6, 298-pound offensive tackle has made multiple trips to Norman and recently spent another watching 'Bedlam'.
After the game, of course the Sooner coaches made sure that Cook was aware that Eric Mensik who spent the entirety of his Sooner career as a tight end was the team's starting right tackle.
"I made it to the OU-OSU game. It went great, it was a lot of fun," Cook said. "It sounds like they needed linemen, obviously they could use me. It looks like they are short on linemen.
"I went with my mom and my uncle. They've gone with me the last couple of times. It was rainy and we went inside for most of it, it was a great time."
