April 29, 2008 DeMatha's Tom Chroniger, one of Maryland top quarterback prospects, received his first offer Tuesday.The 6-foot-1, 190-pound junior was offered by Eastern Michigan according to offensive coordinator Chris Baucia. Chroniger helped lead the Stags to a 11-2 record and the Washington Catholic Athletic Association title. Eastern Michigan plays in the Mid-American Conference's (MAC) West conference and finished last year with a 4-7 record. Senior defensive lineman Jason Jones was just drafted in the second round of the NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans. |
