Bruin pledge had house guests
There is no question that the Bruins needed address the defensive tackle spot in this year's recruiting class and that is why the Bruin nation rejoiced when they received the verbal commitment JUCO defensive tackle Branden Warner (6-2, 280, 4.78) from Compton (Calif.) College.
UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel and defensive line coach Todd Howard made the cross country flight to Atlanta for an in-house with Warner and his family. The future Bruin was home for the Holidays.
"I enjoyed it and needed to get back home," Warner said. "I hadn't been home for a year."
"The in-house visit with Coach Neuheisel and Coach Howard went well," Warner said. "My folks like them and we all had a few laughs. They (Neuheisel and Howard) told me what I needed to do to get in school."
