The recruiting process got off to a fast start for junior Beau Allen when the 6-foot-3, 296-pound defensive tackle from Minnetonka, Minn., picked up three early scholarship offers and interest from several other big-time programs. Last weekend Allen hit Notre Dame’s junior day and while he left without an offer, he liked what he saw from the Irish.
