JUCO defensive end gaining offers
Now that Texas A&M's season is complete, the Aggie coaches are able to travel outside the borders of Texas to recruit players for the class of 2009. They are in full evaluation mode with junior college prospects in California and Kansas.
Recently, Butler (KS) C.C. defensive end Zac Clark emerged as a target for the A&M staff. It led to an offer to the big defender as well as a recent visit from his recruiter. Kirk Doll, as well as defensive line coach Buddy Wyatt.
"I heard they were interested probably about three weeks ago and they offered about two weeks ago," the 6-foot-3, 250-pound three-star prospect said of the Aggies. "Yesterday, two of the coaches were actually here at Butler. One of them went and did a home visit with my parents. It was coach Doll that went to my house and coach Wyatt watched practice.
"I'm going to Texas A&M on an official on the 12th, 13th and 14th of December."
