When quarterback Travonte Stallworth's fourth-down pass was broken up with 1:46 to play that not only signified the end of Leesville's fantastic football season. It all brought to a conclusion one of the state's most prolific campaigns for a running back as well.

Senior Michael Ford, a LSU commitment and nation's ninth-rated running back by Rivals.com, walked off the turf last Friday full of some regret after eight-seeded Leesville faltered in its quest for a Class 4A state championship - losing 21-19 at No. 24 Zachary.
