There are two things that Plano, Texas athlete Rex Burkhead is working on before his senior year - improving with his teammates during 7-on-7 competition and preparing to narrow down his list of college choices.

Burkhead, the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder, will head to College Station, Texas this weekend with his teammates at Plano for the annual 7-on-7 state tournament. The talented prospect says that it's not just about getting better, but also to bond as a team before the fall begins.
