Four-star defensive tackle Corey Adams out of Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro was named the second-best pass rusher in the country for the 2009 recruiting class according to Rivals. The Rivals100 designee had 24 sacks as a junior while helping his team win a state championship.

The 6-foot-3, 275-pound Adams estimated that he had surpassed the 20 offer plateau with the most recent coming from Georgia, Tennessee and Missouri.
