Faulk says he is a Tiger
The first 11 commitments for the defending National Champion LSU Tigers for the Class of 2009 featured only three players from the State of Louisiana.
Commitment number 12 brought the Tigers back to their own state in a very big way.
Wednesday morning the Tigers picked up a commitment from Northshore offensive tackle Chris Faulk.
The 6-6, 280-pound Faulk chose LSU from offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Tulane, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas and is believed to be the first-ever Division I-A football commitment from Northshore High School.
"I committed to LSU today and I am very excited with my decision," Faulk said.
