Danser honored at NIKE
Offensive lineman Kevin Danser (6-5.5, 290, 5.4) from San Jose (Calif.) Bellarmine Prep was outstanding this past weekend at the NIKE Camp held in Palo Alto. So much so that he took away the Camp's offensive lineman MVP Award.
It was noted that Danser was really natural getting in and out of his stance, meaning he's a natural knee bender. He displayed toughness and had long arms. It was obvious that he is well coached and has a high ceiling. The good news is he's going to get even better.
The NIKE Camp coaches noted that Danser outstanding footwork. They also liked his nasty attitude. All are good traits for an offensive lineman to have, if he wants to be successful on the D-I level.
As a junior, Danser earned first-team all-state, first-team all-league and second-team all-metro honors.
