Zlovaric's training hard on & off the court

UGA landed a big commitment last fall when Serbian exchange student Drazen Zlovaric gave his pledge to play for the Bulldogs. UGA offered early and his commitment rather quietly in September. So while there has been little fanfare or media updates on him, he is somewhat of an unknown to most around the country. UGASports traveled to Tennessee recently and you'll get to know this Dawg right here.

At Rush Fitness Complex in Cleveland, Tennessee, we caught up with the 6-foot-8, 200-pound wing working out with his personal trainer.

We captured the UGA signee training, working on his outside game, throwing down a few dunks, showing amazing dribbling ability, and more.

UGASports will produce multiple features over the coming days giving you a chance to see how hard the Serbian is working on and off the court.

This will be a Three Part Feature on Drazen Zlovaric and here is Part I.

In this feature, you will see him train, shoot, dunk, and dribble. He shows some outstanding ability.

In these exercises, you can see Zlovaric building strength and balance at the same time with the use of dumbbells and medicine balls. He also shows off his foot speed with an impressive effort in the Dot Drill. A good athlete can usually finish in under a minute, but he was able to complete it in 41 seconds!

Zlovaric Training

After his workout, we headed to his old court at Cleveland High School to watch him do some dribble and shooting drills. The day before he shot the ball 1200 times in two hours, and this time he did some long range shooting, including a session using "the Gun."

It is a machine that uses a net and launches the ball back to you, allowing you to practice form and shot. He shot 75 long range shots from around the arc, and made 55 of them.
