Dowell making a push among top Texas prospects

AggieYell.com Class of 2009 point guard Reger Dowell made what is becoming an very popular trend in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex - transfer to Duncanville. Dowell, a Duncanville native, has made his name the past few years playing for North Dallas where he has become one of the fastest rising college prospects over the past year.
In January, Dowell made the move to the national powerhouse who was ranked no. 1 for most of the season. Playing behind senior Brian Talley at point guard, Dowell used the end of the season to work his way into the Panther lineup and the locker room before taking the reins next season.
The Rivals.com three-star prospect has scholarship offers from Alabama, South Alabama, SMU, TCU, Tulane, Stephen F. Austin and Texas-Arlington. Dowell is receiving increased interest from Texas A&M, Marquette, Texas, Baylor and Nebraska.
