Jackson building relationships with this U-M
Michigan got off to a good start recruiting one of the state's top class of 2009 prospects in Grand Ledge wide receiver James Jackson. Relationships were built between the 6-0, 175-pound receiver and Lloyd Carr's staff, but now that Rich Rodriguez has taken over in Ann Arbor much of that effort has to be re-done.
Rodriguez and his staff let Jackson know early just how strongly they felt about him and around Signing Day reaffirmed the offer that the previous staff had extended last fall. Last Thursday at Michigan's Junior Day they had an opportunity to build more familiarity.
