The Carencro football program has been one of Louisiana's best at producing top flight talent over the years and for the 2009 recruiting year college coaches will be hovering around campus to try and convince cornerback Janzen Jackson to sign on the dotted line.

Jackson is the son of Carencro head football coach Lance Guidry and has already received multiple scholarship offers.

"LSU offered him on signing day. Bradley Dale Peveto called and then he talked to him and let him know they offered him a scholarship," Guidry said.
