Big plays doom FSU...again

Warchant.com BLACKSBURG, Va. - Florida State featured the wrong kind of big-play defense Saturday night.
The Seminoles gave up 14 plays of 10 yards or more, many to freshman phenom quarterback Tyrod Taylor, in a 40-21 loss to Virginia Tech. Burned by both long passes and long runs, the Seminoles allowed 395 yards of total offense to a Virginia Tech team averaging 315.3 yards and 26 points per game.
