USCFootball.com Monday's award for greatest understatement went to USC coach Pete Carroll: "The roster's a little tentative right now," he said.
The Trojans' completed Saturday's victory against Arizona without their starting quarterback, leading rusher, a couple of cornerbacks, two linebackers and enough offensive linemen to make up a full starting unit.

Quarterbacks
John David Booty has not thrown a football since his aborted attempt to get ready for Arizona on Saturday morning. Nevertheless, he said he expects to be ready for Notre Dame this weekend.
