WARREN, Ark. - Camden Fairview has three athletes headed to Arkansas and on Monday night each showed why they were offered by the Razorbacks and others.
In addition, another trio of Cardinals showed why Tennessee, Mississippi State and others are recruiting them. Quarterback Jim Youngblood, 6-3 1/2, 216, 4.69 seconds in the 40-yard dash, running back De'Anthony Curtis, 5-10, 209, 4.41, and defensive lineman Lavunce Askew, 6-3, 279, 4.89, all are headed to Fayetteville and all three were standouts on Monday.
In Fairview's first game of the night, they played Texarkana. In that game, Youngblood completed 7-of-10 passes for 99 yards and rushed for 46 yards and 2 touchdowns on 4 carries. Youngblood won the game when he raced 19 yards for a touchdown with 8.7 seconds left in the game.
