Sakoda ready to roll
James Durrant
UteZone.com Louie Sakoda was perhaps an unsung hero of last year's Utah team. His outstanding punting was a huge factor in several Utah wins, and his game winning field goal against Air Force was one of the memorable dramatic moments from last season. This year, Sakoda is focused on following up with more success this season. He's been named to several pre-season watch lists, and is easily one of the best punters in America. Utezone.com had the chance to catch up with Louie following Utah's opening scrimmage. Here's what he had to say.

LS - It's awesome, as expected. You work hard, and you hope it pays off and last season it seemed to pay off. I'm working harder this summer, and hopefully I can set the ball even higher.
UZ - What do you feel that you're better at, the place kicking or the punting?
LS - It varies. With punting, technically it's difficult, so it's easy to get into a slump. With field goals, it's the same every time. But right now I feel extremely confident in both.
