McClain takes quick trip to UA camp
Anniston four-star offensive lineman Antoine McClain has been a man on the move this summer. Between his family relocating, summer camps, high school workouts with his team and a part-time job, the 6-foot-6, 320-pound has little free time, but carved out a day to make the recent UA camp.
"I was at the Alabama camp on Tuesday," said McClain, who checks in as the 69th-ranked player nationally per Rivals. "It was just a quick trip there and back, but it was productive. It was real tough, but I had a lot of fun.
"Coach (Joe) Pendry worked with us on footwork and pass-blocking. We learned how to pick up on stunts and blitzes. It was heavy on technique and getting quicker with our feet. Coach Pendry is a coach I could play for."
When asked about other top camp performers, McClain didn't hesitate to identify a recent commit.
