Thunder rolls at USC
Traveling from nationally renown football power Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista High School, Devon Kennard represented the Thunder well by storming Kennedy Field at USC Sunday.
Kennard, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound 15-year old standout sophomore who had seven sacks in 2006, showed off his many talents this weekend at USC's annual football camp.
Kennard matched up twice against five-star offensive tackle Matt Kalil in the afternoon session of one-on-one drills. Eager to compete against one of the nation's best pass blockers, Kennard garnered the respect of many of the camp's top offensive linemen.
With so much talent and a square head on his shoulders, Kennard is already receiving a ton of interest from a number of major programs, including Michigan, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oregon State, Arizona State and Arizona.
