When the 2006 season was about to begin one of the biggest question marks was how the linebackers would perform. Well a group of undersized, but tough backers led by DeWayne Walker and new linebackers coach Chuck Bullough. This group exceeded expectations and did a great job running to the football and made plays.

Unlike a year ago, the Bruins return all three starters at the position. They led by senior middle linebacker Christian Taylor. Taylor is the quarterback of the defense and is an extension of the coaching staff on the field.
