Ashcraft takes in M&W game
Cedar Hill's run to last season's Class 5A Division II state championship was keyed by a senior class studded with blue chip talent.
In all, eleven players received scholarships from Division I schools, including quarterback William Cole (Oklahoma State), the Class 5A player of the year as well as a couple of offensive linemen, John Jones (Baylor) and Brandon Washington (Tulsa).
Overall, it was one of the better senior classes to come out of the Metroplex in recent memory.
Cedar Hill, however, had a stable of underclassmen that helped the team to its title. Including in those is class of 2009 offensive lineman Thomas Ashcraft. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect visited Texas A&M Saturday for the Maroon and White game.
