Schwapp responds to Weis' verbal jolt

IrishIllustrated.com | The sophomore season of Asaph Schwapp didn’t go exactly as planned. Injuries cut short the fullback’s attempt to follow his surprising debut, but after six months rounding back into form, Schwapp is ready put his Irish career back on a positive track. The fullback talks about coming back from injury and the motivation he’s received from Charlie Weis. Weis did the talking; Schwapp did the listening. "He kind of broke me (down) this morning and gave me some fire," said Schwapp, the 6-foot-0, 255-pound fullback with a sheepish grin. "That helped out a lot. He was very 'encouraging.' I sat and listened to him. I didn't say a word. It hit home. It hit home real hard."
