Bulldogs offer top South Carolina QB

Mississippi State has shown early in the recruiting process this year that they are serious about adding quarterback depth to the roster and the latest prospect to get an offer is Johnston (SC) Strom Thurmond dual-threat quarterback, Aramis Hillary. Hillary talks about how he feels about his first D-I offer, where MSU now stands, and his plans for the immediate future.

"It was great," he commented on receiving the offer. "I got a lot of respect for coach Croom and he does the right things. He's a good father figure to that program down there. He has really built that up and I really think that they will play a black quarterback, an athletic quarterback, like myself. It was great.

"Then I was talking to coach McCorvey and he was telling me about all the internships they got down there and education. It would be a great fit for me.

"I am really excited. I am kind of ready to pull the trigger, but I want to go down there and visit and see what the atmosphere is like. Take my mother down there and see what the facilities are like. I mean I haven't took a trip down there yet."

How did MSU find him?
