UA continues win streak against Stanford
Marcus Williams led the Wildcats with 23 points and eight rebounds despite foul trouble in an 89-75 victory against Stanford Saturday.
Another in a long line of great games between Arizona and Stanford, the Cardinal gave Arizona all they could handle for most of the second half, leading for a couple of minutes and right behind the rest of the time.
The Cats jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and was firing on all cylinders due to Mustafa Shakur breaking down the defense and distributing the ball to open shooters. Shakur once again showed that he is the fuel that makes this Arizona offense run and went off for 18 points and nine assists in another spectacular game.
Stanford got going shortly after that with Lawrence Hill hitting shots from everywhere. Hill would finish with 20 points and seven rebounds for the Cardinal.
