Barrett proud of defensive improvements

ASUDevils.com Junior safety Josh Barrett had a terrific 2006 season, leading the Sun Devils in tackles (74) and tied for second in tackles for loss (7.5.) He also tied for the team lead with two interceptions and tied for second on the team with six pass deflections. Barrett spoke with ASUDevils.com earlier this week about his season and the tremendous overall improvement of the Sun Devil defense from the previous year.
On the departure of seniors that played defense:
"They're leaving on good terms and knowing that we finished out (the regular season) as the No. 1 ranked defense in the Pac-10. Under 300 yards per game and we're definitely hoping for an offensive highlight type of game this weekend with USC and UCLA."
